Air Marshal Subhash Bhojwani

In June 2002, Air Marshal Subhash Bhojwani took over as SASO of Western Air Command. Prior to that he was Commandant of the IAF Academy at Dundigal. The Dundigal Academy is the IAF's premier Training Establishment.

Flt. Lt. Subhash Bhojwani was 27 Squadron's "official" photographer between 1966-69. In 1996, just before 27 Sqn received the Presidential Colours they found that the 1966-69 period photos had got spoilt due to water damage. Luckily for them, Air Cmde. Subhash Bhojwani was able to replace almost all the photos.

Flt. Lt. Subhash Bhojwani was awarded Mention-in-Despatches for his role in the 1971 Indo-Pak war.

During the 1999 Kargil conflict, Air Commodore Subhash Bhojwani was the Director of Air Operations(Offensive) and was often seen on TV briefing the media.
